What can you inspect now?
At the moment, Keursnel covers one type of inspection: the building inspection of a home. You inspect the home from roof to crawl space, for a purchase, a sale or for NHG (the Dutch National Mortgage Guarantee).
You work with 42 chapters and over 4,800 answers. Keursnel turns them into the report, the cost estimate and the NHG annex. That also works without internet, for example in the loft or the crawl space.
Which inspections are marked as coming soon in the app?
Seven other inspection types are already in the app, labelled coming soon. You cannot select them yet, and we give no date. The cards above show which inspection works now and which ones are labelled coming soon.
Each inspection's page explains what it involves. The seven inspections fall into three groups:
- Buying and selling: the energy label and the NEN 2580 measurement report
- Building: the new-build handover inspection and the pre-construction condition survey
- Management and letting: the multi-year maintenance plan (MJOP), the damp and mould survey and the rental points count (WWS)
How do you choose the right inspection?
Start with your client's question. Do they want to know what condition a home is in, for a purchase or a sale? Then you do a building inspection.
Is it about the energy performance of the home? Then you need an energy label. Do you need to measure the usable floor area and the volume? Then you make a measurement report to NEN 2580.
With a new home, you record defects during the handover: the handover inspection. Is there building or demolition work nearby? With a pre-construction survey, you first record the condition of the buildings.
For a VvE (owners' association), you use an MJOP to plan the maintenance and the costs for the coming years. With damp or mould, you find the cause and set out a plan of action. For a rented home, you count the points of the woningwaarderingsstelsel (WWS), the Dutch points system that sets the maximum rent.
Under Team you set which inspection types each colleague may do. You also choose what they see and whether they may deliver reports themselves.
What does an inspection cost?
A paid building inspection costs 1 credit. A single credit costs €25 and does not expire. With a subscription, you pay from €7.50 per inspection. All prices exclude VAT.
You start for free: each organisation can deliver 3 reports a month at no cost, with a watermark. There are no prices yet for the inspections labelled coming soon.
Inspect without the hassle afterwards
Record the inspection on site. Keursnel works out the costs and creates the report with the NHG annex.
